The *Best* Creamy Banana-Blueberry Smoothie
I know, I know, I ALREADY have a blueberry smoothie recipe on Honeybee Dishin'...but this is literally the BEST blueberry smoothie I have ever had, and I just have to share it with you! It has become a morning essential that I pair with peanut butter-banana toast. (Shoutout to my coworker Maria for urging me to post this despite already having a blueberry smoothie recipe up.)
This smoothie is suuuuper creamy, which is what, in my opinion, makes it so much tastier and satisfying! I think the frozen blueberries in combination with the crunchy peanut butter are what make this smoothie taste much richer and creamier. If you are not team crunchy peanut butter, never fear! After blending, you can’t even tell you used crunchy peanut butter. I just believe that the peanut bits create a creamier texture once blended into the smoothie.
This smoothie is also thick, which contributes to the satisfying texture. Because of this though, you have to pulse and shake between blending. If you are blending in a single-serve cup, you just pulse, remove from the blender & shake, and then blend again until smooth. If you are blending in a pitcher, you will pulse, stir, and then blend until smooth.
I hope you make this a morning staple and enjoy it as much as I do!
