I have always had a love for all things food and being in the kitchen. I can remember helping my mother in the kitchen as a child and serving up those oh-so-delicious goodies from my Easy Bake Oven!

After graduating high school, I decided to expand onto that zeal and major in nutrition and food science with a dietetics concentration at Middle Tennessee State University. I missed home so badly that I tried to whip up the flavors from home in my itty bitty apartment and share them on social media. This was when Honeybee Dishin' was born! *Special shoutout to my trooper of a husband for taste testing the not-so-great recipes.*

It gives me great joy to finally have my very own corner to share yummy recipes and more with you.

In May of 2022, I graduated from The University of Tennessee at Martin’s dietetic internship (A ten-month program consisting of graduate-level coursework and a minimum of 1,000 hours of supervised practice). Shortly after that, I passed my registered dietitian (RD/RDN) exam and finally got to add a few extra letters to my name!

Currently, I am working full-time as a medical-surgical dietitian at an acute-care facility.

You will find a little bit of everything here: a blend of recipes on the healthier side and some sweet, more indulgent ones to balance everything out. You will also find the occasional life posts because I love to travel & try new things!
