Caprese Salad with Balsamic Dressing
Ingredients
For the Salad:
1lb package sliced fresh mozzarella (or mozzarella pearls)
4 cups cherry tomatoes
⅔ cup roughly chopped fresh basil
For the Dressing:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
Cut mozzarella slices into ½”-¾” pieces. If you are using mozzarella pearls, you can skip this step.
In a large bowl, gently toss tomatoes, chopped basil, and mozzarella.
In a separate small bowl, whisk the olive oil, balsamic, oregano, salt, and pepper together.
Pour dressing over salad and gently toss again.
Optional: before serving, drizzle with more balsamic. Enjoy!
